What you will do:

  • Provide strong leadership to the therapy and recreational therapy teams ensuring effective service delivery from referral through to discharge.
  • Oversee team caseloads to deliver the most efficient and effective service to our service users.
  • Lead clinical governance initiatives focusing on clinical risk management and implementation of relevant standards and guidelines.
  • Ensure high service standards are maintained and comply with local and national guidelines, managing team documentation to meet Brainkind standards.
  • Manage and support staff ensuring effective day-to-day service delivery and provide on-site deputy leadership when required.
  • Facilitate service development with strategies involving service user participation, peer review, audit, and evaluation of outcome measures.
  • Chair interdisciplinary and review meetings to foster collaborative working across professionals and services.
