
Support worker/Senior Support worker
Location: Barnsley Pay:
Support Worker: £12.60 per hour (rising to £13.45 on 1st April)
Senior Support Worker: £13.60 per hour (rising to £14.45 on 1st April)
Shifts:
Earlies: 8am - 3pm
Lates: 3pm - 10pm
Half‑hour unpaid break included
Staff work a mixture of shifts across the week
Days and nights available
Contract: Full‑time, 37.5 hours per week
About the Service
A specialist residential service supporting individuals with brain injuries and physical disabilities is now recruiting Support Workers and Senior Support Workers to join their team.
Senior Support Worker - £13.60 per hour (rising to £14.45)
Lead and mentor staff to deliver person‑centred care
Support rehabilitation programmes for individuals with brain injuries
Administer medication and maintain accurate records
Promote independence and dignity
Contribute to care planning and safeguarding
Senior experience required, ideally within brain injury rehabilitation
Support Worker - £12.60 per hour (rising to £13.45)
Provide hands‑on support with daily living tasks
Assist with therapy and rehabilitation programmes
Encourage independence and community involvement
Offer emotional and social support
Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
