Location: Barnsley Pay:

• Support Worker: £12.60 per hour (rising to £13.45 on 1st April)

• Senior Support Worker: £13.60 per hour (rising to £14.45 on 1st April)

Shifts:

• Earlies: 8am - 3pm

• Lates: 3pm - 10pm

• Half‑hour unpaid break included

• Staff work a mixture of shifts across the week

• Days and nights available

Contract: Full‑time, 37.5 hours per week

About the Service

A specialist residential service supporting individuals with brain injuries and physical disabilities is now recruiting Support Workers and Senior Support Workers to join their team.

Senior Support Worker - £13.60 per hour (rising to £14.45)

• Lead and mentor staff to deliver person‑centred care

• Support rehabilitation programmes for individuals with brain injuries

• Administer medication and maintain accurate records

• Promote independence and dignity

• Contribute to care planning and safeguarding

• Senior experience required, ideally within brain injury rehabilitation

Support Worker - £12.60 per hour (rising to £13.45)

• Provide hands‑on support with daily living tasks

• Assist with therapy and rehabilitation programmes

• Encourage independence and community involvement

• Offer emotional and social support

• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
