Support Worker - Residential Care Home (Sutton Coldfield)

Autism | Learning Disabilities | Challenging Behaviour

Location: Sutton Coldfield
Hours: 42 hours per week
Shift Pattern: 3 shifts on / 3 shifts off
Shifts Available:

  • Days: 8am - 8pm

  • Nights: 8pm - 8am

We are recruiting dedicated and compassionate Support Workers to join a specialist residential care home in Sutton Coldfield, supporting adults with autism, learning disabilities (LD), and challenging behaviour.

This role offers secure hours, a structured rota, and an excellent work-life balance through a 3 shifts on / 3 shifts off working pattern.



The Role

  • Provide high-quality, person-centred support within a residential setting

  • Support individuals with autism and learning disabilities

  • Positively manage and respond to challenging behaviour

  • Assist with personal care, daily living skills, and routines

  • Promote independence, dignity, and emotional wellbeing

  • Follow care plans, risk assessments, and safeguarding procedures

  • Work collaboratively as part of a professional care team



What We're Looking For

  • Caring, reliable, and resilient Support Workers

  • Experience in autism, learning disabilities, mental health, or challenging behaviour is desirable but not essential

  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts on a 3 shifts on / 3 shifts off rota

  • Strong communication skills and a person-centred approach

  • Commitment to delivering high-quality care
