What you will do:

- Implement the multi-agency Safeguarding Adults Policy and Procedures, including leading on Section 42 Enquiries.
- Facilitate and chair complex safeguarding meetings.
- Produce, update, and maintain electronic records and information systems to compile necessary reports.
- Participate in the Safeguarding Adults Coordination Team duty system to ensure timely processing of concerns.
- Coordinate allegations of abuse against staff and volunteers in accordance with protocols.
- Provide practice guidance, advice, and mentoring to staff and partners.
- Foster effective partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to uphold Safeguarding Adult Policy and Procedures.
- Collaborate with the Care Quality Commission, legal services, and commissioning teams for contract compliance.
- Support team managers with additional duties and produce comprehensive briefings and reports.

We are seeking to appoint a Safeguarding Coordinator to join the Adult Safeguarding Team. You will hold a Social Work degree or equivalent, evidenced by continued learning and expertise in the Care Act 2014, risk management, and the Mental Capacity Act 2005. Your extensive experience should include chairing complex meetings, implementing policies, engaging in direct work, producing high-quality reports, and managing high-risk situations.
