This allows for timely decision-making and effective intervention, ensuring Social Workers can maintain sustainable caseloads. With 7 weeks dedicated to family work, you will be able to conduct thorough assessments and provide children and families with the appropriate support, focusing on safeguarding and managing CIN and CP cases.

What you will do:

  • Maintain organised and sustainable caseloads that focus on quality over quantity.
  • Collaborate with the partnership and improvement team for daily work management.

About you:

  • Qualified Social Worker: Hold a recognised Social Work qualification and be registered with Social Work England.
  • Children's Social Care Experience: Experience working with children with disabilities within a Children's Social Care setting.
  • Safeguarding Expertise: Confident in managing Child In Need (CIN) and Child Protection (CP) cases.
  • Assessment Skills: Able to undertake thorough assessments and deliver effective interventions.
  • Case Management: Capable of maintaining organised and sustainable caseloads.
  • Collaborative Approach: Strong ability to work alongside families, colleagues, and partner agencies to achieve positive outcomes.
