What you will do:

Chair Initial and Review Child Protection Conferences, ensuring they remain child-centred, inclusive, and compliant with statutory guidance.

Independently oversee Looked After Children (LAC) Reviews and other statutory review meetings, ensuring robust scrutiny and accountability.

Promote the active involvement of children, young people, parents, carers, and families in decision-making processes.

Monitor and evaluate Child Protection Plans and Care Plans to ensure they remain focused on achieving positive outcomes for children.

Provide independent oversight and constructive challenge where safeguarding concerns, drift, or delays in planning are identified
