  • Chair Child Protection Conferences, ensuring all statutory requirements and safeguarding responsibilities are met.

  • Oversee and monitor Child Protection Plans to ensure they effectively address identified risks and promote positive outcomes.

  • Work in partnership with children, families, carers, and professionals to facilitate robust safeguarding decision-making.

  • Apply specialist knowledge of Child Protection, Children in Need, Children in Care, and safeguarding legislation to complex cases.

  • Utilise the ROTH framework to support high-quality analysis, assessment, and decision-making processes.

  • Undertake comprehensive risk analysis and provide professional challenge where required to ensure children remain safeguarded.
