What you will do

Complex Case Management: Lead on complex cases within the Corporate Parenting Team, ensuring children receive high-quality support and intervention.
Care Planning: Undertake assessments and develop comprehensive care plans tailored to the individual needs of children and young people.
Advocacy: Champion the welfare, rights, and aspirations of children in care, ensuring their voices are heard and respected.
Multi-Agency Working: Work collaboratively with health professionals, education providers, foster carers, residential services, and partner agencies to coordinate effective support.
Practice Leadership: Provide mentoring, guidance, and professional support to less experienced social workers and team members.
Safeguarding: Manage safeguarding concerns and ensure that children remain protected and supported in line with statutory responsibilities.
Court and Statutory Work: Contribute to statutory processes, reports, reviews, and court proceedings where required.
