Purpose of the Role
You will deliver a high-quality statutory social work service under the Adult Support and Protection (Scotland) Act 2007, promoting safety, rights, and wellbeing. Your work will focus on risk assessment, intervention, and multi-agency safeguarding.
What You Will Do

Undertake statutory ASP inquiries and investigations in line with West Lothian Council procedures.

Assess risk, vulnerability, and protective factors to determine required interventions.

Lead or contribute to ASP Case Conferences, IRDs, and Core Groups.

Develop and review Protection Plans, promoting safety, choice, and independence.

Complete community care assessments under the Social Work (Scotland) Act 1968.

Prepare, implement, and review care plans for adults with varying needs.

Monitor care arrangements and respond promptly to changes in risk or circumstances.

Work collaboratively with health, police, housing, and other partner agencies.

Maintain accurate case records and provide reports for multi-agency forums.

Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings and contribute to coordinated support.
Salary range
