Role overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Social Worker to join the Adult Community Team in Hull on an ongoing locum basis. This role offers flexibility across part-time and full-time hours, with a hybrid working arrangement requiring a minimum of three days per week in the office. Based at the Orchard Centre, you will have the opportunity to negotiate working patterns with your manager while delivering high-quality statutory social work services across community settings.

You will play a key role in completing statutory reviews, supporting adults to achieve positive outcomes, and ensuring care packages and direct payments are meeting assessed needs.

What you will do

  • Complete statutory reviews across a range of settings, including care homes, community environments, and day services.

  • Assess and review care and support plans to ensure outcomes are being met effectively.

  • Monitor and review direct payments to confirm they are appropriate and compliant with requirements.

  • Work collaboratively with health professionals, providers, and partner agencies to deliver joined-up care.

  • Maintain accurate, timely, and high-quality case records in line with statutory and organisational standards.

  • Provide advice, guidance, and support to adults, families, and carers, promoting choice, independence, and empowerment.

Salary range

  • £32.40 per hour
