About the Role

Sanctuary Personnel is currently recruiting for an exciting Service Manager (Social Worker) opportunity within the Early Help, Prevention & SEND/Youth Justice Service in Haringey.
This is a rewarding opportunity to take a leadership role in delivering impactful interventions that improve outcomes for children, young people and families across the community.
You will bring a minimum of three years' management experience within the Criminal Justice Service, alongside strong knowledge of Youth Justice and children's legislation. Your ability to build effective partnerships and lead high-quality services will be essential to your success in this role.

What You Will Do
- Prepare the Youth Justice Service for inspections, ensuring it is compliant and inspection-ready.
- Audit active Youth Justice Service caseloads to monitor quality, effectiveness and outcomes.
- Provide management cover and support to Team Managers and the Head of Service when required.
- Participate in and support Youth Justice Service Risk Management and Out of Court Disposal Panels.
- Oversee and contribute to Youth Justice Service learning reviews, ensuring learning is identified and embedded into practice.
- Implement and promote the Youth Justice Service participation strategy, encouraging meaningful involvement from young people and other stakeholders.
- Support the delivery of high-quality, effective and outcomes-focused Youth Justice services.
- Foster strong partnership working across relevant services and agencies to achieve positive outcomes.
Essential Requirements
- Qualified Social Worker with relevant professional registration.
- Minimum of three years' management experience within the Criminal Justice Service.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of Youth Justice practice.
- Sound knowledge of children's legislation and statutory requirements.
- Proven ability to develop and maintain effective multi-agency partnerships.
- Strong leadership, management, auditing and quality-assurance skills.
- Excellent communication, organisation and decision-making abilities.
- Commitment to improving outcomes for children, young people and families.
