Service Manager (OFSTED)

Location: Stockport (SK1) and (SK10)

Salary: £42,500

Schedule: Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm

As Service Manager, you will oversee a supported accommodation service for 16+ young people, shaping the culture and standards of the service each day. You will ensure consistency across the team, maintain robust safeguarding practices, and make sure every young person has a clear, outcome-focused plan to support their progress and independence.

This role is ideal for someone who can balance compassion with accountability - approachable and supportive with young people, clear and decisive with staff, and confident when working with external partners and meeting compliance requirements. Both of the homes are 2 bed homes. You will be working alongside the Registered Manager.

Your Role: Lead, Inspire, and Transform

  • Leadership: Guide and inspire a dedicated team to deliver outstanding care.
  • Therapeutic Focus: Provide and oversee therapeutic interventions that promote healing and growth.
  • Operational Excellence: Ensure the smooth running of the home, maintaining the highest standards of care and compliance.

What We're Looking For

  • Well organised, dependable, and confident in managing compliance requirements and service reporting
  • Proven ability to lead teams effectively and drive continuous improvement
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management (or currently working towards it)
  • Strong understanding of safeguarding, with the confidence to make sound decisions under pressure
  • Experience managing or deputising within supported accommodation, semi-independent provision, or a similar children and young people service

Please note that right to work in the UK and a full, valid UK driving licence is essential for the role
