What You Will Do:

Build meaningful, relationship-based practice with children, young people, and families.

Manage a complex caseload, exercising professional autonomy and sound decision-making.

Provide expert advice, guidance, and technical support to colleagues, social workers, managers, and partner professionals.

Use, model, and support others in applying a range of assessment and intervention frameworks.

Lead and coordinate multi-agency safeguarding plans for children and families.

Prepare high-quality reports for statutory interventions and act as an expert witness in Care or Private Law proceedings if required.

Contribute to panel processes, team meetings, and wider service planning.

Act as a practice educator or mentor for students, apprentices, and newly qualified social workers.

Take part in reflective practice sessions and support service development activities.
