What you will do:

• Make clear, evidence-based threshold recommendations on incoming contacts.
• Gather information, make recommendations, and take actions within agreed timescales depending on risk levels identified.
• Undertake further enquiries, including MASH checks, for cases where initial thresholds aren't clearly met.
• Maintain confidentiality, ensuring information shared within MASH is restricted to authorized professionals only.
• Consider consent issues appropriately in all areas of your work.
• Record your work accurately on the Early Help Module IT system within set deadlines.
• Provide advice and take referrals while keeping professionals and referrers informed of progress.
• Expand your knowledge of local services for effective signposting.
• Foster positive, collaborative relations with professionals from partner agencies.
• Attend training to stay updated with relevant legislation and practice requirements.
• Promote and assist in the development of CSCT in response to legislative changes and service needs.
• Actively participate in supervision sessions and team meetings.
• Achieve set personal appraisal targets and share insights from training sessions during team meetings.
• Handle all other duties as required by post grade, including adhering to the Code of Conduct of Social Work England and the Council's core values.
• Ensure compliance with Data Protection Act and maintain health, safety, and dignity for all policies.
