Senior Nursery Practitioner (Room Leader)

Kiddie Capers Fishersgate offers a bright, welcoming environment for children aged 0–5, with dedicated under‑2s rooms, a spacious hall filled with inviting play zones, and a brand‑new garden designed for outdoor exploration. Surrounded by green space and a nearby park, children enjoy plenty of opportunities to play, discover, and connect with nature. Inside, our stimulating areas encourage curiosity, creativity, and independence, supported by an experienced team who follow the EYFS curriculum to nurture each child’s unique development

As a Senior Room Leader, you will play a key role in leading a room within our nursery, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children. You will support the team in delivering high-quality care and Early Years education in line with the EYFS. Your leadership will help maintain a positive and organised setting where each child’s development is supported and celebrated. You will also work closely with the management team, taking on additional responsibilities to support the wider nursery when needed.

Hours & Pay:

• 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, fully flexible
• £16.00 per hour

• A minimum of level 3 qualification (or working towards Level 3) in Early Years Education or equivalent
• Experience of working in a childcare setting
• Experience in being a Room Leader in a nursery setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
