Senior Nursery Practitioner

£30,300 per annum | 40 Hours per Week | All Year Round |

This Good Ofsted-rated nursery is looking for an experienced Level 3 Senior NurseryPractitioner to join its friendly and supportive team. Designed to provide children with the very best start in life, the nursery features purposefully designed rooms for each age group, ensuring every child benefits from an environment that's tailored to them.

Each room has been thoughtfully equipped to a high standard with engaging resources, toys, and activities that encourage curiosity, creativity, and independent learning. Outside, children enjoy a large, secure garden that has been carefully planned to support outdoor play, physical development, and exciting learning opportunities throughout the year.

As a Senior Nursery Practitioner, you'll lead by example, supporting your room team to deliver exceptional care and education while helping every child reach their full potential.

What We're Looking For

• Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent).
• Previous experience as a Senior Nursery Practitioner, Room Leader, or an experienced Nursery Practitioner ready to step into a senior role.
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework, safeguarding, and child development.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Experience supporting and mentoring colleagues within an early years setting.
• A caring, enthusiastic, and child-centred approach.

Your Role

• Deliver outstanding care and education in line with the EYFS framework.
• Lead by example, supporting and mentoring practitioners within your room.
• Plan and deliver engaging learning experiences tailored to children's individual stages of development.
• Observe, assess, and monitor children's progress, ensuring learning is appropriately planned and recorded.
• Make full use of the nursery's stimulating indoor environments and secure outdoor space to create exciting learning opportunities.
• Build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
• Support the Room Leader and wider management team in maintaining high standards across the nursery.
• Ensure safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies are consistently followed.
