What You Will Do:

  • Collaborate with Business Partners in Operational Real Estate to develop asset management strategies.
  • Identify surplus or under-performing assets and devise disposal plans or value-add initiatives.
  • Negotiate leases, renewals, and rent reviews to maximize asset profitability.
  • Conduct property inspections and prepare condition reports and dilapidation schedules.
  • Oversee expenditures, service charge accounts, and ensure effective financial planning.
  • Prepare complex property valuations for various purposes such as rent, insurance, and asset appraisals.
  • Act as Project Manager for third-party development projects on County Council land.
  • Draft strategic reports and appoint external agents and solicitors where necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and policy standards and contribute to energy-saving initiatives.
