Safeguarding and Partnership Lead

Location: York
Salary: Up to £31,000 per annum
Hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week

As the Safeguarding and Partnership Lead, you'll join a dedicated organisation supporting individuals living with brain injuries. Based at our welcoming York centre, you'll become part of a collaborative and values-led team committed to delivering exceptional care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and champion safeguarding across the hospital, promoting a culture of transparency, safety, and accountability.

  • Provide expert safeguarding guidance to the Hospital Leadership Team, ensuring regulatory compliance and high standards of patient care.

  • Act as the primary link with external safeguarding partners (Local Authorities, Police, voluntary agencies).

  • Participate in multi-agency safeguarding meetings and contribute to case reviews.

  • Monitor safeguarding activity, producing regular analytical reports for senior leaders.

  • Embed learning from safeguarding reviews to drive continuous improvement.

  • Deliver safeguarding information sessions and training across the hospital.

  • Work collaboratively with external agencies to develop discharge packages from admission onwards.

  • Act as family liaison lead, ensuring clear communication with families and advocates.

  • Attend meetings with associate Hospital Managers to support robust decision-making.

Salary range

  • £31,000 per year
