Bedford | Full-time & Part-time Available

We are recruiting passionate and experienced Children's Home Support Workers on behalf of a residential children's home in Bedford supporting young people aged 11-17.

This is a rewarding opportunity for individuals who are committed to providing nurturing care, positive mentoring and emotional support to young people in a safe residential environment.

Shift Patterns

• 7:30am - 9:30pm:
• 9pm - 8am (Wake Night):
• 24hr Shift (Sleep-in): 7:30am - 8am next day:

Pay

• £12.21 - £14 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Provide positive role modelling and mentorship to young people
• Support emotional wellbeing and independent living skills
• Follow behaviour management, risk assessments and care plans
• Engage young people in activities and daily routines
• Maintain accurate reports and safeguarding records

Requirements

• Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
• Experience working with young people in residential or youth settings
• Ability to manage challenging behaviours and build trust
• Flexible approach to working hours
