Residential Support Worker - Children's Residential Home (EBD)
Location: Bramley
Salary: £14 per hour + £50 per sleep
Contract: Full-time, permanent
Home: 3-bedded children's residential home (EBD)
Shift Pattern: 1 on / 2 off

Howard Finley Care is delighted to be working on behalf of our client to recruit a dedicated and compassionate Residential Support Worker for a 3-bedded children's residential home in Bramley, supporting young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD).

This is a rewarding opportunity to join a supportive and well-structured service that is committed to providing a safe, nurturing, and therapeutic environment where young people can thrive.

Key Duties:
  • Provide high-quality, child-centred care to young people with EBD, promoting positive outcomes and emotional wellbeing.
  • Support young people with daily routines, education, activities, and emotional regulation.
  • Work as part of a consistent staff team to maintain a safe, structured, and stable environment.
  • Follow safeguarding procedures, risk assessments, and care plans in line with company policies and Ofsted standards.
  • Build positive, professional relationships with young people, colleagues, and external professionals.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 1 year's experience working in a children's residential home - essential
  • Experience supporting young people with EBD - desirable
  • Relevant qualifications in Health & Social Care or Children's Residential Care - preferred but not essential
  • A genuine passion for working with children and young people
