Residential Home Manager
Registered Children's Home Manager
Salary: Up to £53,500 per annum (depending on experience and qualifications)
Location: Cumbria
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Are you an experienced and compassionate leader ready to make a lasting difference in the lives of young people?
Do you want to work in a stunning rural setting in the heart of the Cumbrian countryside?
I'm currently recruiting for an experienced Registered Children's Home Manager to lead a well-established residential children's home, which includes a 28-day response placement specialising in outdoor activities. The service is dual registered with Ofsted and AALA and has a strong reputation for delivering positive outcomes for young people.
The home benefits from excellent staff retention, well-embedded routines, and consistently achieves Good or Outstanding ratings across all areas. This is an opportunity to join a thriving service with a stable, supportive team already in place. This role would suit someone who is passionate about child-centred, therapeutic care and is ready to take the next meaningful step in their leadership career.
We're unable to offer sponsorship on this role, so we would require you to have the right to work in the UK for this role, as well as experience working in children's residential care.
The Role
You will be responsible for the overall leadership and management of the home, ensuring the highest standards of care, safeguarding, and regulatory compliance. You'll lead, motivate, and develop a skilled staff team while ensuring children receive consistent, high-quality support tailored to their individual needs.
