Job Title: Relief Bank - Housing and Resettlement Worker
Location: Luton (Actual location hidden due to the confidentiality of the service)
Salary: £12.60 + 12.07% annual leave accrual paid monthly
Shift Pattern: Flexible role to service needs.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We're looking for Recovery Workers with experience working with people who have complex needs to support our service. You will be a part of the recovery network we provide to help individuals and families with complex needs back into the community. We have two residential services in Luton and there will be opportunities across the different sites for work with the Resident and Participant groups in our service.
Rota: Flexible shift patterns.

ABOUT THE SERVICE
Biscot House Luton delivers accommodation based/housing related support to single men aged 18+. The service has 9 units of accommodation (including disabled access).
Our service aims to support those with Housing Support needs and low support needs such as:
Biscot House provides support for clients to end the cycle of homelessness. Staff and residents work together to create a fun, vibrant and service user focused home, in which to develop vital skills and confidence to live in the community.

KEY CRITERIA
What we are looking for:
- IT Proficiency, ability to learn new software programs, basic Microsoft experience is required
- Experience of working with people of complex backgrounds, including in the criminal justice field, mental health, and/or substance misuse or a good understanding of the sector
- Understanding of the housing and social needs of people with multiple and complex needs
- Able to influence and negotiate positive outcomes with others
- Appropriate qualification: NVQ/Diploma Level 2 in Health & Social Care/Community Justice, or professional equivalent
- Experience of providing housing support and a practical assistance within a residential or outreach support role
- Experience creating co-produced support plans and providing appropriate interventions for service user and liaising with other professionals
