Are you an experienced leader in children's residential care looking to make a difference? We're recruiting a Registered Manager to reopen and lead a children's residential home in Andover, SP10, supporting young people aged 9-18 with complex emotional and behavioural needs.

About the Role

As Registered Manager, you'll oversee the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring high standards of care, safeguarding and Ofsted compliance.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading the daily operations of the home.

• Ensuring regulatory compliance and quality care.

• Acting as the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL).

• Leading, supporting and developing the care team.

• Working with therapists, families and external professionals.

• Overseeing staffing, care planning, budgets and quality assurance.

• Supporting young people with ASD, ADHD, PTSD and trauma-related behaviours.

About You

To be considered for this Registered Manager role, you'll need:

Essential requirements

• Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent.

• At least two years' residential childcare experience.

• At least one year's supervisory or management experience.

• Strong safeguarding and child protection knowledge.

• Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.

Desirable

• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare, or working towards it.

• Previous Designated Safeguarding Lead experience.

• Experience attending reviews and writing reports.
