Role: Registered Manager

Location: Bradford

Hours: Full time - Monday to Friday - 40 hours

Salary: up to £60k DOE

Chase Medical have an exciting vacancy for a Registered Manager to join a highly respected client of ours who provides residential care services for children and young people in the Bradford area. They have a well-established team and offer fantastic areas of growth and opportunity. Initially starting with 1 child, with the aim to increase to 3 children once settled.

As the Registered Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the home operates in accordance with Ofsted regulations and that the children's welfare is at the heart of every decision. You will work closely with the senior leadership team, and external agencies to ensure the highest standards of care and safeguarding.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the home is compliant with The Children's Homes (England) Regulations 2015 and Quality Standards.
  • Oversee safeguarding practices and promote a culture of safety and transparency.
  • Monitor and evaluate performance, outcomes, and continuous improvement.
  • Act as the point of accountability with Ofsted and other regulatory bodies.
  • Promote therapeutic, trauma-informed care principles throughout the service.

About You

  • Proven experience in a senior role within children's residential care.
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant legislation, particularly The Children's Homes Regulations and Quality Standards.
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Able to demonstrate a commitment to safeguarding and child welfare.
  • Ideally completed a fit person interview with OFSTED previously.
