Registered Manager - Children's Home (Ofsted Registered)

Location: Barking

Salary: £60,000 per annum

Are you an experienced and passionate leader in children's residential care? A well-established Residential Childcare Provider is seeking a Registered Manager to lead their existing 3 bed EDB children's home in Barking.

About the Role:

As Registered Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the home, ensuring high standards of care and compliance with Ofsted regulations. You will be leading a supportive and diverse team, working to provide safe, nurturing environments for children aged 8-17 with emotional and behavioural difficulties, learning disabilities, and/or mental health histories.

Key Responsibilities:

• Registering and opening the new home in line with Ofsted requirements
• Delivering high-quality care in accordance with Ofsted and safeguarding standards
• Leading and managing the care team to promote positive outcomes
• Providing on-call support when required
• Recruiting, training, and developing staff
• Overseeing new admissions and ensuring smooth transitions for young people

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a management role within a children's residential home
• Proven experience registering and launching new homes
• Strong knowledge of Ofsted frameworks and safeguarding practices
