Registered Manager - Children's Residential Home (Learning Disabilities)
Location: Leicester
Salary: Up to £60,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Contract: Full-time, permanent
Home: 2-bedded children's residential home (Learning Disabilities)

Howard Finley Care is delighted to be working on behalf of our client in Leicester to recruit an experienced and dedicated Registered Manager for a well-established 2-bedded children's residential home supporting young people with learning disabilities.

This is an excellent opportunity to lead a small, settled service that is already up and running and was previously rated Outstanding. The provider is committed to maintaining the highest standards of care and is seeking a strong, child-focused leader who can continue to drive quality, compliance, and positive outcomes for the young people in their care.

Key Duties:

• Provide strong leadership and day-to-day management of the home, ensuring high-quality, person-centred care for children with learning disabilities.
• Maintain full compliance with Ofsted regulations, safeguarding procedures, and all relevant legislation.
• Lead, support, and develop the staff team through supervision, training, and reflective practice.
• Oversee care planning, risk assessments, and placement matching to ensure the needs of each young person are met.
• Drive continuous improvement and work towards achieving and maintaining outstanding outcomes.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Registered Manager within children's residential care - essential
• Must have been registered with Ofsted previously - essential
• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent) - essential
• Proven experience working with children and young people with learning disabilities - essential
• Strong leadership, organisational, and compliance knowledge - essential
