We are thrilled to present an exciting opportunity for a Recovery Worker within a Substance Misuse service based in Walthamstow, London. Earn £22 per hour (Umbrella) while contributing to an impactful service on a 3-month contract with the potential for extension. This role is structured over 5 days a week, totalling 37.5 hours. What you will do:

- Provide one-on-one support and keyworking to individuals experiencing substance misuse related issues, focusing on both drugs and alcohol.
- Develop and manage personalised care plans, maintaining accurate and confidential case records.
- Educate service users on harm reduction strategies and recovery models, promoting safe practices and healthy lifestyle choices.
- Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals and community services to ensure comprehensive care and support.
- Conduct assessments and reviews to monitor and adjust treatment plans as required to meet individual needs.

Requirements:

- An up-to-date DBS on the update service.
- Demonstrable experience in managing substance misuse cases, focusing on effective interventions for drugs and alcohol.
- Proficient caseload management and keyworking skills, with a strong understanding of harm reduction and recovery models.
