We are seeking an experienced Recovery Worker in Mansfield to join a full-time, two-month locum assignment in the field of substance misuse recovery. What You Will Do:

• Act as the main care coordinator for assigned service users, providing screening, asset mapping, assessments, recovery planning, and care reviews using motivational interviewing techniques.

• Deliver tailor-made packages of care, including psycho-social interventions, key work, POD, group work, clinical interventions, and harm minimisation strategies.

• Conduct comprehensive service user assessments and develop individual recovery plans that support community reintegration.

• Foster service-based recovery communities, promoting mutual support and collaboration among clients.

• Perform risk assessments and manage risk effectively to ensure safety and wellbeing.

• Manage triage assessments and make informed referrals to treatment and community support agencies.

Requirements:

• Updated DBS certificate registered on the update service.

• Relevant experience in substance misuse recovery.
