What You'll Do:
In this dynamic, field-based role, you'll be a driving force in delivering high-quality Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) across supported living services in Essex. You will:
- Conduct functional behaviour assessments to understand the "why" behind behaviours.
- Design and implement tailored Positive Behaviour Support Plans (PBSPs).
- Champion the reduction of restrictive practices in line with RRN guidelines.
- Mentor and coach frontline staff to deliver person-centred, confident support.
- Provide engaging, impactful training on PBS, Active Support, and related topics.
- Collaborate with families, clinicians, and external professionals to promote consistent, inclusive care.
- Lead team meetings, contribute to service planning, and ensure the highest standards of practice.
Who You Are:
You're a compassionate, committed professional who thrives on helping others reach their potential. You bring:
- Strong experience in PBS, education, psychology, or health & social care.
- A recognised MSc in Applied Behaviour Analysis or Positive Behaviour Support.
- UK-SBA or BCBA accreditation (essential).
- A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential).
- Outstanding communication and collaboration skills.
- A deep respect for dignity, inclusion, and autonomy.
