    Location: Bromley
    Pay: £17.74 - £18.59

    Shifts:
    • Weekday nights: 8:00 pm-8:00 am, Monday - Friday mainly Thursdays, flexibility required
    • Weekend days: Saturday & Sunday, 8:00 am-8:00 pm
    Full UK Driving Licence Required
    We are currently recruiting compassionate and reliable Paediatric Brain Injury Support Workers to support our young client in Bromley with complex needs.

    About the Client

    Our young client has a brain injury, global developmental delay, dystonia and neonatal seizures following complications at birth.
    He has severely limited mobility, is PEG fed, and requires medication management. mobility is severely limited, even with the use of assistive technology

    The family have a dog, so applicants must be comfortable working with pets.

    Key Responsibilities
    • Deliver person-centred, tailored care
    • Support with personal care, mobility and daily routines
    • Administer medication and monitor health
    • Accompany the client in the community
    • Provide emotional support and reassurance
    • Maintain accurate care records
    • Work closely with healthcare professionals and family
    Requirements
    • Experience supporting paediatric clients is essential
    • Experience with complex needs (brain injury, PEG, seizures) desirable - training can be provided
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Energetic, empathetic, and reliable
    • Ability to work independently and in a team
    • Awareness of accessibility - knowledge of wheelchair-friendly routes, transport, and venues
    • Full UK driving licence
