We are seeking an enthusiastic Nursery Teacher to join our inclusive and supportive primary school in Surrey from January 2026. This permanent position is open to both full-time and part-time applicants and offers the potential for a TLR for subject or phase leadership for the right candidate.

  • Position: Nursery Teacher
    Location: Surrey
    Start Date: January 2026
    Contract: Permanent – Full-Time or Part-Time considered
    TLR: Available for subject or phase leadership (for the right candidate)

As our Nursery Teacher, you will:

  • Lead a nurturing nursery class that fosters independence, imagination, and confidence
  • Deliver a rich play-based curriculum rooted in the EYFS framework
  • Observe, assess, and plan effectively for each child’s development
  • Build strong, positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
  • (If applicable) Lead a subject area or phase, contributing to whole-school development

What We’re Looking For

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
  • Experience in EYFS or nursery provision
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and child-led learning
  • Creativity, warmth, and enthusiasm for supporting early development
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Willingness to take on subject or phase leadership (if seeking a TLR)
