Level 3 Room Leader

£35,000 per annum | 40 Hours Per Week

What We're Looking For

  • Level 3 Early Years qualification
  • Previous experience as a Room Leader, Senior Nursery Practitioner, or similar senior role
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS framework
  • Good knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to support, mentor, and motivate colleagues

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the day-to-day running of your designated room
  • Deliver high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS framework
  • Support and mentor practitioners within the room
  • Plan and oversee engaging learning experiences that support children's development
  • Monitor children's progress through observations and assessments
  • Build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues
  • Ensure compliance with EYFS, safeguarding, and nursery policies
  • Maintain a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment
