Nursery Practitioner SEN
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Level 3 or above Early Years Educator with extensive experience in supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) to join our friendly and supportive Nursery team<\/span>. This is a mixed role, where you will provide targeted support for a child with vision impairment and global developmental delay, while also working within the room to support all children and contribute fully as part of the team<\/span>.<\/span>

Support the child’s learning, communication, and development through play -based activities<\/span><\/span>.<\/span>

Adapt activities and environments to meet sensory and developmental needs<\/span><\/span>.<\/span>
<\/p><\/li>
Work closely with the room team, SENCO, and external professionals<\/span><\/span>.<\/span>
<\/p><\/li>
Support and engage all children in the room when appropriate<\/span><\/span>.<\/span>
<\/p><\/li>
Contribute to planning, observations, and assessments<\/span><\/span>.<\/span>
<\/p><\/li>
Promote inclusion and ensure the child feels safe, valued, and supported<\/span><\/span>.<\/span>

Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a high -quality learning environment<\/span><\/span>.<\/span>

Requirements<\/h3>
Essential Requirements:<\/b>

Extensive experience working with children with SEND<\/span><\/span>.<\/span>
<\/p><\/li>
Good understanding of EHCPs and inclusive practice<\/span><\/span>.<\/span>
<\/p><\/li>
Patient, caring, and committed to high -quality care and education<\/span><\/span>.<\/span>
