Job DescriptionTo provide high-quality care and early education for children aged 0–5 years in line with the EYFS framework and Little Elms’ Four Pillars curriculum.
The Level 3 Educator will ensure children are safe, stimulated, and supported to thrive emotionally, socially, and developmentally within a warm, professional environment.

Essential Requirements
-
Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification (as recognised by the DfE).

Sound knowledge of the EYFS framework.
-
Understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
-
Paediatric First Aid (or willingness to obtain).
-
Excellent communication skills.
-
Right to work in the UK.
- Enhanced DBS check.
Personal Attributes

Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification (as recognised by the DfE).

1. Quality of Care & Safeguarding

Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children at all times.

Follow safeguarding policies and procedures in line with statutory guidance.

Maintain accurate accident, incident, and welfare records.

Promote positive behaviour using consistent and respectful strategies.
- Adhere to hygiene, health and safety, and mealtime standards.
2. Teaching & Learning

Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities in line with EYFS.

Observe, assess and track children’s development.

Contribute to planning meetings and reflective practice.
- Support children with SEND, following IEPs and external professional guidance.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Desirable
-
Experience working in a busy nursery setting.
Knowledge of SEND and inclusive practice.
Experience supporting quality improvement or room leadership.
