Nursery Practitioner – Level 3+

£31,000 per year | 40 Hours per Week | All Year Round

Based within a beautifully refurbished building, the nursery provides bright and spacious rooms designed specifically around each age group. The environments support different stages and areas of learning while giving children plenty of freedom to explore, use their imagination and follow their own interests.

Outside, a large garden with free-flow access extends the learning environment throughout the day. Dedicated growing areas give children opportunities to plant, care for and discover the natural world, alongside plenty of space for active play and outdoor exploration.

What We’re Looking For

• A full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification or above
• Previous experience within a nursery or Early Years setting
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS and child development
• Confidence creating engaging experiences around children's interests and individual development
• A creative approach to using indoor and outdoor environments
• A warm, nurturing and child-centred approach
• Strong safeguarding and child protection knowledge
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• For the Senior Nursery Practitioner position, previous senior-level experience or the confidence to take on additional responsibility within the room

Your Role

• Providing consistently high-quality care and Early Years education
• Creating experiences that encourage curiosity, imagination and independence
• Supporting children's individual learning and developmental needs
• Observing progress and planning meaningful next steps
• Making full use of the nursery's age-specific rooms and free-flow garden
• Encouraging outdoor learning through play, exploration and the nursery's growing areas
• Building positive relationships with children and families
• Maintaining high standards of safeguarding and wellbeing
