Nursery Practitioner – Level 3

£14.00 per hour | 40 Hours per Week

This family-run Montessori nursery takes a personal approach to Early Years, tailoring experiences around each child rather than expecting every child to learn in the same way. Children are encouraged to explore, make their own choices and develop independence, with practitioners there to provide the right balance of guidance, reassurance and freedom.

As a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner, you’ll become part of a close-knit team where you can build meaningful relationships with children and families while creating experiences that respond to each child’s individual development.

What We’re Looking For

• A full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification or above
• Previous experience within a nursery or Early Years setting
• Good understanding of the EYFS and child development
• An interest in Montessori principles and child-led learning
• A strong understanding of how to adapt experiences around individual children
• A warm, patient and nurturing approach
• Confidence encouraging independence, curiosity and exploration
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Good knowledge of safeguarding and child protection

• Provide high-quality, individualised care and Early Years education
• Get to know each child's interests, personality and stage of development
• Create experiences that encourage children to explore, investigate and make choices
• Support children to develop confidence and independence at their own pace
• Plan engaging activities in line with the EYFS
• Observe children's progress and use this to identify meaningful next steps
• Create a calm, welcoming and stimulating learning environment
• Build close relationships with parents and carers
• Work collaboratively as part of a small, family-run nursery team
• Maintain high standards of safeguarding, health and safety, and wellbeing
