Nursery Practitioner – Level 2 or Level 3

£27,500–£30,500 per year - Depending on Experience & Qualifications

Every child develops differently, and this nursery has created an environment that gives practitioners the freedom to recognise those differences and make learning personal.

With a bespoke approach to each child, the focus is on understanding their individual interests, personalities and stages of development, then creating experiences that help them progress with confidence. Fully equipped, stimulating rooms provide plenty of opportunities for play, creativity and discovery, while a huge and varied outdoor play area gives children even more space to explore, be active and follow their curiosity.

As a Nursery Practitioner, you’ll be part of a supportive team creating meaningful everyday experiences while ensuring each child receives the care, attention and encouragement they need.

What We’re Looking For

• A full and relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification
• Previous experience within a nursery or Early Years setting
• Strong understanding of the EYFS and child development
• A child-centred approach with an understanding that every child develops differently
• Confidence creating engaging and age-appropriate learning experiences
• Strong knowledge of safeguarding and child protection
• A warm, enthusiastic and reliable approach to Early Years care

Creating Experiences Around Each Child

• Provide high-quality care and learning experiences throughout the nursery day
• Get to know each child and support their individual interests, needs and next steps
• Plan activities that encourage curiosity, creativity and independence
• Make full use of the nursery’s well-equipped indoor rooms and expansive outdoor play area
• Observe and record children’s development in line with the EYFS
• Support children’s emotional, social and physical development
• Create a safe, welcoming and stimulating environment
• Build positive relationships with parents and carers
• Work closely with colleagues to provide consistency across the nursery
• Maintain high standards of safeguarding, health and safety
