Nursery Practitioner – Level 2 or Level 3

£30,500 per year | 40 Hours per Week

This nursery has been thoughtfully created with bright, inspiring spaces, natural materials and carefully chosen resources that spark curiosity and imagination. The approach blends individualised learning with purposeful play, giving children the freedom to follow their interests while receiving the right support and encouragement for their stage of development.

As a Nursery Practitioner, you’ll help bring these environments to life, creating meaningful experiences that allow children to explore, make choices and develop their confidence and independence.

What We’re Looking For

• A full and relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification
• Previous experience within a nursery or Early Years setting
• Strong understanding of the EYFS and child development
• Confidence supporting both individualised learning and purposeful play
• The ability to recognise children's interests and turn them into engaging learning opportunities
• A warm, nurturing and responsive approach
• Good knowledge of safeguarding and child protection
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Your Role

• Provide high-quality care and learning experiences in line with the EYFS
• Create opportunities for children to explore, investigate and use their imagination
• Plan experiences around children's individual interests and developmental needs
• Encourage independence, confidence and learning through purposeful play
• Make creative use of the nursery's natural materials and inspiring learning spaces
• Observe children's development and support meaningful next steps
• Build positive relationships with children and their families
• Work closely with colleagues to maintain a welcoming and stimulating environment
• Maintain high standards of safeguarding, health and safety, and wellbeing
