Nursery Practitioner – Level 3 (Baby Room)
Up to £28,000 per year | 40 Hours per Week | Outstanding Ofsted

This Outstanding Ofsted-rated nursery is a small, nurturing setting where children receive individual attention and strong relationships are at the heart of everyday care. With age-specific rooms thoughtfully designed for each stage of development and a beautiful garden for outdoor exploration, the nursery provides babies with a calm, stimulating environment where they can grow in confidence from their very first steps.
We’re looking for a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner with previous baby room experience who is passionate about creating secure attachments, supporting early development and providing exceptional care during this important stage of childhood.
What We’re Looking For
- A full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification
- Previous experience working with babies in a nursery setting
- Strong understanding of the EYFS and child development, particularly for under 2s
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding and child protection
- A warm, patient and nurturing approach
- Confidence supporting babies’ individual routines and developmental milestones
- Excellent communication skills with families and colleagues

Your Role
- Provide high-quality care for babies in line with the EYFS
- Support each child’s individual routine, including sleep, feeding and personal care
- Create engaging sensory and play experiences that encourage early development
- Build secure, trusting relationships with babies and their families
- Observe and record developmental milestones, planning meaningful next steps
- Make the most of the nursery’s age-specific learning spaces and beautiful outdoor garden
- Work collaboratively with your room team to deliver exceptional care
- Maintain outstanding standards of safeguarding, health and safety
