Job Description

Nursery Practitioner – Level 3

£28,000–£30,000 per year | 40 Hours per Week | Full Time

Set within a beautiful new building, each room has been carefully created around the needs of young children, providing a warm and nurturing environment where they can explore, make choices and become increasingly independent.

The nursery places a strong focus on building confidence and school readiness, while ensuring children still have plenty of freedom to learn through play and enjoy their Early Years.

As a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner, you’ll play an important part in creating those everyday experiences – supporting children to develop at their own pace while helping them build the skills they’ll carry into their next stage.

What You’ll Need

  • A full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification or above
  • Previous experience working within a nursery or Early Years setting
  • Good understanding of the EYFS and child development
  • Confidence supporting children's independence and emerging skills
  • A warm, nurturing and engaging approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A good understanding of safeguarding responsibilities

Why This Role Is Worth Considering

  • £28,000–£30,000 per year
  • Training and development opportunities
  • Bonus scheme and incentives
  • Regular team events
  • Pension scheme
  • Your birthday off

What You’ll Do

  • Provide high-quality care and learning experiences throughout the day
  • Create opportunities for children to explore, make choices and develop independence
  • Plan engaging activities in line with the EYFS and children's individual interests
  • Support children's communication, confidence and school readiness
  • Observe children's development and use this to plan meaningful next steps
  • Make the most of the nursery's carefully designed indoor learning spaces
  • Build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues
  • Maintain high standards of safeguarding, health and safety, and wellbeing

All appointments are subject to safer recruitment requirements, including an enhanced DBS check, satisfactory references, and verification of the right to work in the UK, in line with safeguarding responsibilities.
