Nursery Practitioner – Level 3
£29,300 per year | 40 Hours per Week | All Year Round
Join a nursery where children are given the freedom to learn through play, explore their interests and gradually build the skills and confidence they need for their next stage.
With large, airy rooms for each age group, the nursery provides engaging play equipment and carefully chosen educational resources to support children throughout their Early Years. You'll work with a blend of EYFS learning and child-led play, adapting activities as children develop and supporting a natural transition towards more structured pre-school routines.

What You'll Need
- A full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification or above
- Recent experience working within a nursery setting with children aged 0–5
- Strong understanding of the EYFS and child development
- Confidence supporting both child-led play and adult-led learning
- A warm, engaging approach to building relationships with children and families
- Paediatric First Aid would be desirable
What You'll Do
- Provide high-quality care and learning experiences across the EYFS
- Create opportunities for children to explore, make choices and learn through play
- Plan and deliver engaging adult-led activities alongside child-led learning
- Observe and record children's progress and use this to support their next steps
- Help create stimulating, age-appropriate learning environments
- Support children as they transition between rooms and towards pre-school
- Work closely with colleagues and families to support each child's development
- Maintain high standards of safeguarding, health and safety, and hygiene
