Nursery Practitioner – Level 2 or Level 3

£27,500–£30,500 per year | 40 Hours per Week | Good Ofsted Rating

This Good Ofsted-rated nursery is looking for a Level 2 or Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join its welcoming team. The setting is focused on providing children with a safe, loving and engaging educational environment, where strong relationships and individual development sit at the heart of everyday practice.

Throughout the nursery, calm and stimulating classrooms are thoughtfully arranged with engaging and natural resources, creating opportunities for children to investigate, create and learn through play. Outdoor experiences are also an important part of nursery life, giving children plenty of opportunities to explore beyond the classroom.

What We're Looking For

• Full and relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification.
• Previous experience within a nursery or Early Years setting.
• Good understanding of the EYFS framework and child development.
• Strong knowledge of safeguarding and child protection.
• Confidence planning activities around children's individual interests and developmental stages.
• Ability to create warm and secure relationships with children.
• An understanding of how natural resources and thoughtfully designed environments can support children's learning.

• Provide warm, responsive and high-quality care throughout the nursery day.
• Deliver engaging learning experiences in line with the EYFS.
• Follow children's interests and turn their curiosity into opportunities for further learning.
• Encourage confidence, independence and creativity through play.
• Observe and assess children's development and identify meaningful next steps.
• Act as a Key Person, building secure relationships with children and positive partnerships with families.
• Support children's individual routines and emotional wellbeing.
• Help maintain calm, inviting and engaging learning environments.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver consistent Early Years practice.
• Maintain excellent standards of safeguarding, health and safety.
