Nursery Practitioner – Level 3

£28,000–£33,000 per year | Full Time, All Year Round

Recently refurbished with the little details in mind, this welcoming nursery has been carefully designed to create a calm and engaging environment where children can feel comfortable, follow their curiosity and develop a genuine enthusiasm for learning.

Inside, bright and airy rooms are filled with character and engaging resources, giving children plenty of opportunities to create, investigate and learn through play. Outside, there's even more to discover, with a large garden, dedicated forest area and playground providing space for everything from imaginative adventures to active and nature-based learning.

We're looking for a passionate Level 3 Nursery Practitioner who can bring warmth, creativity and enthusiasm to the team while providing children with the consistent care and support they need to thrive.

What We're Looking For

• Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification or above.
• Previous experience within a nursery or Early Years setting.
• Good knowledge of the EYFS framework and child development.
• Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
• Confidence planning engaging experiences around children's individual interests.
• Ability to observe children's development and identify appropriate next steps.
• Enthusiasm for outdoor, creative and child-led learning.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• A warm, positive and nurturing approach.
• A genuine passion for helping children develop confidence, independence and curiosity.

Your Role

• Deliver high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS.
• Create engaging experiences that encourage children to explore, question and discover.
• Plan activities around children's individual interests and developmental stages.
• Encourage confidence, creativity and independence through meaningful play.
• Make full use of the nursery's forest area, playground and spacious garden.
• Support children's individual routines, emotional wellbeing and personal development.
• Act as a Key Person, building secure relationships with children and positive partnerships with families.
• Observe and assess children's progress and use this to plan meaningful next steps.
• Maintain bright, inviting and stimulating learning environments.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to provide consistent, high-quality practice.
• Maintain excellent standards of safeguarding, health and safety.
