Nursery Practitioner – Level 2 or Level 3

£27,500–£30,500 per year | 40 Hours per Week | Good Ofsted

This Good Ofsted-rated nursery is looking for a passionate Level 2 or Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join its friendly team. The setting is focused on providing children with a safe, loving and engaging educational environment, combining nurturing care with plenty of opportunities to learn through play.

Inside, multiple fully equipped learning rooms provide stimulating and enriching experiences throughout the different stages of children's development. Outside, a large garden and play area gives children plenty of space to get active, explore their surroundings and enjoy learning in the fresh air.

What We're Looking For

• Full and relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification.
• Previous experience within a nursery or Early Years setting.
• Good understanding of the EYFS framework and child development.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
• Confidence creating engaging experiences that support children's individual learning and development.
• Ability to build warm, secure relationships with children.
• A positive and enthusiastic approach to indoor and outdoor learning.
• A genuine commitment to creating a nurturing environment where children can thrive.

Bringing Learning to Life

As a Nursery Practitioner, you'll be actively involved in making every day interesting, engaging and supportive for the children in your care.

• Provide high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS.
• Create experiences that encourage children to explore, investigate and develop new skills.
• Support children's confidence, independence and emotional wellbeing.
• Make effective use of the nursery's fully equipped rooms and learning resources.
• Take learning outdoors, making the most of the large garden and play areas.
• Plan activities around children's individual interests and developmental stages.
• Observe children's progress and identify meaningful next steps.
• Act as a Key Person and build positive relationships with children and their families.
• Support children's individual routines and personal care needs.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to provide consistent, high-quality Early Years practice.
• Maintain excellent standards of safeguarding, health and safety.
