Nursery Practitioner – Level 2 or Level 3

Up to £27,500 |Full-Time, All Year Round | Good Ofsted-Rated Nursery

Our client, a Good Ofsted-rated nursery is looking for a confident and enthusiastic Level 2 or Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join its team. The nursery provides a warm, safe and nurturing environment, with thoughtfully arranged rooms that support children through each stage of their early development.

There's also plenty of outdoor space, giving children opportunities to get active, explore their surroundings and extend their learning beyond the nursery rooms.

We're looking for someone who is comfortable taking responsibility for their key children, contributing ideas and getting involved in all aspects of nursery life.

What We're Looking For

• Full and relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification.
• Previous experience working within a nursery or early years environment.
• A confident and proactive approach to working with young children.
• Good understanding of the EYFS framework and child development.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
• Confidence planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities.
• Ability to build positive relationships with children and communicate effectively with families.
• A caring, enthusiastic and dependable approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Your Role

• Provide high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS framework.
• Take responsibility for a group of key children and support their individual learning journeys.
• Plan engaging experiences that reflect children's interests and stages of development.
• Encourage children's confidence, independence and curiosity through everyday play.
• Make the most of the nursery's indoor and outdoor learning environments.
• Observe and assess children's progress and use this to inform appropriate next steps.
• Support children's individual routines, emotional wellbeing and personal care needs.
• Develop warm and trusting relationships with children and their families.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain consistently high standards.
• Follow safeguarding, health and safety and nursery policies at all times.
