Nursery Practitioner (Level 3)

Up to £29,000 per year | Full Time | Permanent | Good Ofsted

Every day in early years brings something new, and it’s often the simplest interactions that make the biggest impact. Whether you’re sparking curiosity, supporting a child’s growing independence or helping them feel safe and settled, your role will be central to their development and happiness.

This Good Ofsted-rated nursery cares for children aged 3 months to 5 years, offering a warm, lively environment where they’re encouraged to explore and develop at their own pace.

Inside, bright, well-resourced rooms are designed for each age group, while secure outdoor areas provide plenty of opportunities for active, hands-on learning.

The nursery follows a child-led approach, allowing practitioners to build on children’s interests and turn everyday curiosity into meaningful learning experiences.

What We're Looking For

• Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent).
• Previous experience within a nursery or early years setting.
• Strong understanding of the EYFS framework.
• Good knowledge of safeguarding and child protection.
• Confidence planning activities around children's interests and developmental stages.
• A warm, creative and enthusiastic approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

As a Nursery Practitioner You Will

• Turning a child's latest fascination into an engaging learning activity.
• Supporting children as they develop new skills, confidence and independence.
• Creating opportunities for play and exploration both indoors and outside.
• Acting as a Key Person and building meaningful relationships with children and their families.
• Observing children's progress and adapting experiences to support their next steps.
• Working alongside colleagues to keep the room engaging, organised and welcoming.
• Supporting children's individual routines and wellbeing throughout the day.
• Maintaining high standards of safeguarding, health and safety.
