Job Description

Nursery Practitioner (Level 3)

Salary: £29,200 per annum

Full-Time, 40 hours per week

Are you a caring and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner looking to join a welcoming nursery where children are encouraged to learn through play, exploration, and outdoor adventures?

This Good Ofsted-rated nursery is looking for a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to become part of a friendly, supportive team. What Our Client Is Looking For

  • Level 3 Early Years qualification or above – essential
  • Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting
  • A caring, enthusiastic, and child-centred approach
  • Good knowledge of the EYFS and child development
  • A passion for outdoor learning and encouraging children to explore nature
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues

Key Responsibilities

  • Creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children can learn, play, and develop with confidence
  • Planning and delivering stimulating activities in line with the EYFS, making the most of the nursery's outdoor spaces and forest school sessions
  • Building positive relationships with children and supporting their emotional, social, and developmental needs
  • Observing, assessing, and recording children's progress, sharing updates with families where appropriate
  • Supporting children's independence through play-based learning and everyday routines
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high standards of care and education
  • Ensuring the nursery remains a safe, clean, and welcoming environment while following safeguarding and health and safety procedures
