Job Description

Nursery Practitioner – Level 2 or 3

Up to £30,000 per annum | 40 Hours Per Week

Our client is looking for a caring and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner to join their Good Ofsted-rated nursery. Purpose-built with children's development in mind, the setting offers bright, modern learning spaces alongside exceptional outdoor facilities that encourage exploration, creativity, and active play.

Outdoor learning is a key part of daily life at the nursery, giving children the opportunity to develop physically, socially, and emotionally through hands-on experiences. What We're Looking For

  • Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification
  • Previous experience working within a nursery or early years setting
  • Good understanding of the EYFS framework
  • Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A nurturing and child-centred approach to childcare

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS framework
  • Support the planning and delivery of engaging, play-based activities
  • Encourage children's curiosity, creativity, and independence through indoor and outdoor learning
  • Observe and support children's individual development and progress
  • Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment where every child can thrive
  • Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
  • Promote children's emotional, social, and physical development
  • Maintain high standards of safeguarding, health & safety, and nursery practice
