Job Description

Level 3 Nursery Practitioner

£31,800 per annum | 40 Hours Per Week

We have a fantastic opportunity for a passionate Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join a well-established Good Ofsted-rated nursery that places children's curiosity, creativity, and individual development at the centre of everything it does.

The nursery offers bright, spacious playrooms filled with natural light, creating engaging environments where children feel inspired to learn, explore, and grow. Learning experiences are carefully planned around each child's interests, helping to foster confidence, independence, and a genuine love of learning.

Outdoor learning plays a key role in daily life, with children benefiting from a large garden complete with sandpits, vegetable patches, mud kitchens, and plenty of exciting spaces to discover.

What We're Looking For

  • Level 3 Early Years qualification
  • Previous experience working within a nursery or early years setting
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS framework
  • Good knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • A nurturing and child-centred approach to childcare

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS framework
  • Plan and support engaging activities based on children's interests and developmental needs
  • Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment
  • Support children's learning, development, and wellbeing
  • Observe, assess, and monitor children's progress
  • Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
  • Make full use of the nursery's outdoor learning environments to enhance children's experiences
  • Maintain safeguarding, health & safety, and nursery standards at all times
