Are you an experienced room leader or Deputy looking for a step up in your career?

This is a classroom based Manager role for an 18 place nursery.

Main purpose of the role: To manage the smooth running of the nursery’ in line with our outstanding policies and procedures. Ensuring that all children are receiving the best level of care from all our employees, as well as staff being supported in their roles.

Role:

o To make sure daily observations on every child are written/ reviewed overseeing and supporting employee’s observations.

o To check that the room manager’s have fulfilled all their duties and to support them in this.

o To assess children’s development and plan and carry out activities based on their interests and areas requiring improvement, following the Early Years Foundation Stage.

o To develop strong communication links with all the parents.

o To keep the scrap books up to date.

o To oversee all the scrap books keeping standards high.

o To write reports/ 2 year old checks for key children.

o To oversee all the reports/ developmental Checks/ parent meetings.

o To make sure that the topic’s are followed and enjoyed by all each week.
